Azziad Nasenya is the new but not-so-new kid on the block who has stolen the heart of East Africa. At just 19 she is the reigning Queen of Tik Tok in the region a title she cemented after her dance video to the song ‘Utawezana’ by Femi One and Mejja went viral.
Share after share, retweet after retweet her success may almost look as if it was just another one of those one hit wonder situations … No, it was not! Most people don’t know that even before the Utawzana challenge brought here massive recognition, Azziad already had almost 2 million views on Tik Tok alone. She was already pushing out content and had already mastred the art of dance videos before the masses realized who she was.
What is the main point to take away from this story? Success has to find you working. As much as you may think you can do something, all of that is nothing if you do not put in the work. Azziad’s hard work has payed off and she is a perfect example of always pushing forward with your dream. Do the work, invest your time in your craft.
